Picture this.

 You're at training. Your friends team are playing an away game. You're working shift. Your own team are playing a big game. You're coaching one kids team. You're other kid is playin in the other gym. These situations happen a lot more frequently than you think. How do we find out whats happening in the game we're interested in. Well currently we might get a text at half time or after the game - or else we check facebook, our forum later. Well thats about to change.

 Many of us now use smartphones and update our Facebook status on the go etc. One way we can cut down on our data usage is to tweet. From now until the end of the season we're going to try and promote the Clubs Twitter account and encourage players/supporters from all teasm to tweet updates during games. You can use @dublinlions in your tweet. Then everybody who searches for @dublinlions will see all of the updates from our followers. We can also use the hashtag #dublinlions.

On Weds night at the Division 1 Mens game, the scores were updated using Twitter 'live' during the game.
